Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, Jesus Zamora (he/they) was introduced to the city’s punk scene at an early age by their young single father. This influence would eventually shape their creative passions and instincts. Not too long after, he began exploring music on his own, first experimenting in high school. A formative experience came in an audio recording class, where they worked in school with producer Lucas Paul on a country track—sparking both curiosity and a deeper understanding of the songwriting process.

What began as experimentation soon evolved into something more intentional. Following a pandemic-era graduation, Jesus spent their stretches in quarantine writing and recording, turning idle time into creative momentum. That early spark grew into a lasting drive, laying the foundation for a body of work rooted in exploration and emotional honesty. His first single, Denial, was released on SoundCloud reaching over 30k streams.

They performed their first live show on July 22, 2022, at West Street Market in Reno, Nevada, marking the beginning of an ongoing presence in the live music scene. Their first album, My Apologies, was released on Spotify in October of that year. Since then, Jesus has continued to develop their practice through performing, recording, and collaborating musically and visually. He moved to Portland, Oregon later in January in hopes of connecting with a range of musicians and artists alike.

Jesus now lives San Francisco, where they continue to write, record, and evolve their sound.
